Ronald Rubin, M.D.

Dr. Rubin MD has years of experience treating clients of all ages, including children.

I grew up in the northern Chicago suburb of Skokie, went to undergrad at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, medical school at Chicago Medical School, and residency in Psychiatry was split between the University of Utah and Rush Medical Center in Chicago. I have practiced in a wide variety of settings, including inner city, rural, inpatient, outpatient, child through elderly, and across the spectrum of neuropsychiatric disorders.

My psychiatric orientation is fairly eclectic with incorporating many different types of therapies with the available biological and pharmacological treatments. I look for medical causes of mental illness, and find it important to make sure a diagnosis is correctly made. Sometimes the best rewards are evident when a difficult problem has been resolved. Since we are all unique individuals, there is not one formula that demonstrates what makes us tick.
